UPCOMING PROJECT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In order to address the plight of people, TARAKESWAR SCHOOL OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT AND TECHNICAL FOUNDATION, hereinafter referred to as TSHM & TF or the organization uses the rehabilitation approach, which aims to transform and empower existing groups of people especially the underprivileged students of remote villages of Hooghly and surrounding districts. We stepped into this environment as an expression of hope and love. Declaring that there is hope in the midst of hopelessness. We are living in times of unprecedented family breakdowns surrounding our area, poor or rich. This attack on the family fabric means that many children are growing up in an unsafe environment. Many have become jobless and living without any enthusiasm.

Therefore we are approaching:

1.   To be the leading community organization that helps the neglected, orphaned, destitute and other vulnerable children of Hooghly and surrounding districts by providing them with social, economic, emotional and spiritual empowerment while advocating for appropriate measures to minimize vulnerability and conditions that give rise to disability.

2. To rescue and rehabilitate children with the goal of reunification of families and a hope to help them find a stable living environment and future opportunities for education followed by job opportunities.

3. To be a focused community organization empowering a generation of passionate children and youth who will become self reliant and accepted by the society.

4. To develop the underprivileged students of remote villages of Hooghly and surrounding districts by providing them short term skill development programs followed by job opportunities.

5. To empower the women of remote villages of Hooghly and surrounding districts by guiding them to become self dependent through various projects like handicrafts, making pickles, making cakes and confectioneries, tailoring, beautician, make up art etc.

6. To support the underprivileged students of remote villages of Hooghly and surrounding districts by providing them food, purified drinking water, clothing, rent, transport, medical, school fees, books, beddings, chairs, tables, beds, computers etc.
